News to share and a Summer Lights QP - Freebie.

I have a couple of exciting things to share with you today. First, I learn that a LO "Rheanna" made by O2BNGdHope for the Kim B's Color Challenge with my kit Summer Lights was chosen for a LOTW (Layout Of The Week) at DSO. I am very happy and I celebrate with her. She made a great job. The pictures of her granddaughter are just beautiful and the LO is simply adorable. You can take a look here.

The second good news, my own layout made for Scraplift Challenge at DSG was chosen for a Bloom of the Day on July 22. Take a look:

Isn't my Grandson adorable? He is not a baby anymore, but I keep finding more cute pictures to scrap with all the time.

I also made a LO for a second Scraplift Challenge at DSG. This time I used my kit Summer Lights. Here it is

I turn this LO into a Quick Page. You can grab it by clicking on the image and don't forget to leave some love.

I also made a LO for DSO gallery using my Summer Brights kit. Even thou this is a bright color kit I made a winter looking layout with it. See it for yourself:

This is all for today. Enjoy every day, be happy and stay healthy!!!

Summer Brights.

This week didn't have a happy start for us. Tuesday morning my son and my husband were getting ready to leave the house to go shopping, when my son alarmed me that our neighbors house is on fire. We ran over to check if anyone was home,by that time our other neighbor was coming up to their door too, and she already call the Fire Department since she was the first to notice the fire starting outside the house in the back of the garage. Thankfully one of the boys was home. He was able to getter all of their pets; two dogs, cat, and a bird. We helped him carry them out to the safe place. This only took maybe a couple of minutes, by that time the fire was progressing very fast. We all stood there and watch in great sadness and disbelieve. It took about five to seven minutes for fire trucks to arrive and by that time the whole back of the garage and top floor above the garage was in flames. We watch in shock and fright. Thank God for fireman!!! They stopped the fire from progressing pretty quickly. Everyone was safe and OK, and that's most important. My neighbors are renting a house close by and hoping to have their home rebuild by the end of this year. Even thou it doesn't look that bad from the outside, the most damage is inside and it has to be all redone.

Here are some pictures I took right after the fire:

Now to a happier news. I have finished my second kit for this month Kim B's CT Color Challenge, Swatch Number 2.

I name the kit "Summer Brights" because of all the bright colors in it and for a lock of a better name. I'm not very good in the business of coming up with kit names. Hopefully you'll like it.

I think it's pretty versatile and it can be used for all kind of different scrap booking pages. Here are the previews and a download links:

and the papers here :

This is all for today. I hope to get some love from you if you download the kit, and any comments are very much appreciated. Have a wonderful weekend!!!
